On this special day that we remember Martin Luther King, Jr. I think it important that we also pay homage to one of the numerous icons on whose shoulders that he, and so many others, firmly entrenched their footing.

was written as a tribute to this man who voraciously ensured that the content of his eloquent messages was heard throughout a nation that considered his kind only three-fifth's human. His grace enamored many. But more importantly, his commitment to the cause of his people was instrumental in changing the mindset of a nation. For certain, he hardened the hearts of just as many, However, that did not deter him from gracing stages, occupying minds, with a message that resounds throughout the land...even today.
So, when listening to one of the numerous orators of today...remember ...
