"Stay on That Porch"

We allowed them to reach this point. This critical juncture.  This space in time where there are many among them that are hell-bent on returning to a time when WE are afraid to even make eye contact. or remain on the sidewalk instead of stepping aside and allowing them to pass.

We have to ask ourselves if we are responsible due to indifference or a deep-seated antipathy for our own and our past strides to attain those things that should be inherently ours?  Or did some of us simply take our eyes off the prize due to personal accomplishment?

Well, whatever the reason, WE now are in a mighty struggle because what once often operated from within the darkness has been allowed to creep out and is growing exponentially.

"Stay on The Porch"
is a piece that addresses OUR responsibility. It also is a stark reminder that OUR ANCESTRAL HERITAGE remains alive and is there for us to summon if we only remain sensitive to it.

NO, what is occurring does not fall within the realm of "it is what it is"

What we are witnessing is occurring because we are allowing it, through our actions and inactions.

Are YOU going to sit idly by and allow it?
