"Seeing Them, Seeing Me"
The New Year, and several weeks prior to the dawn of 2025 has found me conducting a great deal of introspection.
I have found that I have been overcome with thoughts of my ancestors and the multitude of issues that they had to overcome simply to exist.
Their external and internal struggles-I oftentimes FEEL THEM to the point of tears flowing uncontrollably. I feel and see them watching me.
STOP!!!
It's okay to think ...man ol' boy losing it. Sometimes, I feel as if I am also.
However, I genuinely know that is not the case. I KNOW that it is my ancestors seeking to extract all that is within me by those incidents that I gave cursory attention at the beginning of this piece that I entitled...
"Seeing Them, Seeing Me"
...I know that they see me because I REALLY do see them watching and I feel their sense of expectation.
It is my true desire that I am up to the challenge of meeting their expectations and being the man that God has called me to be.
I know that their expectation and HIS call are in perfect alignment.
OUR SPIRIT...LIVES!!!!
PEACE!!!
