I pulled this piece out of the inactive library and edited it in honor of the MILLIONS that are exercising their constitutional rights by assembling for the "NO KINGS" day protests that are assembling throughout this nation.
I truly know within my spirit that this piece was inspired years ago for "such a time as this."
I remember being inspired by the crooner Sam Cook and his song "A Change is Gonna Come". If any , and I know MANY do, recall this song-Sam did not identify a time for that change to materialize.
Many of our soldiers in the battle for equal/civil rights have found their place in glory. However, that does not diminish the need for their quest to come to fruition.
LOOK AROUND-there is probably as much, or more, of a need for us to man our positions and remain in the struggle at that corner called ANTICIPATION and HOPE.
I am diligent in ensuring that my position is manned and am ENCOURAGING US all to do the same.
So SLOW DOWN and allow the WEIGHT of this piece to AMPLIFY the ACHE within and compel you to action.
